I have been traveling since I was a child. I fell in love with exploring new cultures while visiting my grandparents in Hawaii at the age of nine. (insert photo- island princess photo)
I started traveling outside of the US at age 18 and haven't been the same since. Travel opened my eyes, heart and mind to the beauty of environmental and cultural diversity.
I became a nurse, got married and raised a family.
During my years as a Girl Scout Leader and Trainer, I enjoyed fostering a love of travel in the older Girls Scouts and troop leaders. Our troop traveled several times over the years. Belize was my favorite travel adventure. I loved watching them discover and connect to other cultures on a global level. It was amazing! As my children grew older, I discovered my passion for wine, great food and reignited my passion for travel.
I have explored my passion for wine first by making wine, then by leading home wine tasting experiences and in 2023 earned my WSET level 1 and level 2 Wine certifications, along with certificates in Wines of Portugal and Wines of Rioja, Spain.
My hobbies are eating great food, drinking fabulous wine (and other adult beverages, of course!), sampling honey and chocolate from around the world.
I am now sharing my expertise as a boutique travel consultant and advisor.
